Which treatment is right for me?

New to this, or just not sure where to start? You don't need to know the names of anything. Tell us what's bothering you and we'll point you in the right direction — then confirm the plan together at your free consultation.

Find the concern that sounds most like you below — each suggests a treatment or two in plain English. This is a starting point, not the full list, so if you can't see your concern, just ask — we treat a lot more than we can fit here. Women and men are equally welcome, whether it's your first time or your fiftieth. There's no obligation, and Lorraine will help you choose (and tell you what you can safely skip) at your free consultation.

The jargon, in plain English

Aesthetics is full of technical words. Here's what the common ones actually mean — no need to memorise any of them before you get in touch.

Regenerative aesthetics
Treatments that help your skin rebuild its own structure (like collagen) over time, rather than just filling or freezing. The results build gradually and look natural.
Collagen
The protein that keeps skin firm, springy and smooth. We make less of it as we age, which is why skin softens and lines appear. Several regenerative treatments work by encouraging your body to make more.
Polynucleotides
A regenerative injectable (often used under the eyes and for skin quality) that improves and repairs the skin itself — think "better skin", not "more volume".
Skin boosters & bio-remodelling
Injectable hydration spread through the skin to plump, smooth and refresh it. "Bio-remodelling" (e.g. Profhilo) is a popular type that improves firmness and glow rather than changing your shape.
Sculptra (PLLA)
A collagen-stimulating treatment. Instead of filling instantly, it prompts your own collagen to rebuild gradually over a few months for a firmer, natural, longer-lasting result.
Dermal filler
A gel that adds volume or definition where it's placed (for example cheeks or lips). It works straight away and is reversible.
Lip filler — Natural, Classic & Russian
Different techniques, not different strength. A natural or booster approach adds subtle hydration and shape; classic gives clear, balanced definition; a Russian technique lifts and defines the shape of the lip more. Lorraine matches the technique to your face and how subtle you want to be.
Anti-wrinkle treatment
A prescription-only medicine that gently relaxes the muscles that crease the skin when you move, so lines soften. Prescribed by an independent prescriber (a practising hospital doctor).
Microneedling
Tiny controlled channels in the skin that switch on its natural repair, improving texture, scarring, pores and glow over a course.
Fat dissolving
Injections that break down small, stubborn pockets of fat (such as under the chin) that don't shift with diet or exercise.
